We encourage our foster children to participate in community based projects such as fund raising and volunteering.
We have held charity events for Red Nose Day previously, and this year some are volunteering at a local church, doing general maintenance and gardening, to keep the church safe and tidy.
Additionally, our charity work this year is raising money to donate to the church and their own projects, so we are holding a ‘Come Dine With Me’ event and a ‘Mexican Day of the Dead’ meal where we make chilli, and sell it to the employees of the company to raise money for the church. Some children are also making Christmas decorations to sell locally.
