SPRING WALK AMONGST THE BLUEBELLS – MAY 2018
We are very fortunate that we have many woods, parks and open spaces surrounding us and this week’s walk and talk was in a local country park that is known for its wonderful display of bluebells.
It was a bright and sunny afternoon and the group met in good spirits and were raring to go! They walked through fields into the woods and all the young people had a good run around to let off steam!
A clearing was found to set up the stove and under supervision, sausages were fried and rolls were buttered. Afterwards there was time to play catch with a plastic bottle of water and plenty of tree climbing!
All in all, a very energetic time was had!
