April’s craft club
This month’s theme was activities related to St George’s Day and the Queen’s birthday. There was some group discussion about the events and then the real fun began!
The Young People, with our team of dedicated Support Workers, created wooden spoon dragons and decorated shields and flags for St George’s Day. I’m not sure who had more fun!?
Snack time was a chance to chat in a group about how they had all spent their Easter holidays and everyone really enjoyed sharing their stories with each other. It’s so satisfying seeing Young People who have had difficult times in their young lives be able to share and bond in this way.
The session was finished off with colouring in a picture of the Queen which proved amusing to some!
Does your fostering agency offer such fun, social groups for the children? Do you feel somewhat isolated being part of a large agency? Would you like to transfer to a fostering agency that makes you feel part of a family team and offers amazing support and therapy?
